Sadly today we bid farewell to our colleague Gill. Gill is one of our cooks and has been such a loyal member of our Orangery Tearoom for the last 15 years.
The NHG Team all wish you loads of luck in your new role Gill☺️
No surprise we’re already quite a mindful place with our wealth of plants, our gardens and the wonderful wildlife that these welcome.
Crafting is another way to enable us to switch off, live in the moment and just be………
We’re loving these kits: pretty painting by numbers, intricate embroidery and fun felting. Like growing plants, it’s all about just giving it a go😊
Our carnivorous plants (they’re the houseplants that lure in flying bugs) were running a little low but not now! We’re full of the fav that is venus fly trap and stunning sundews that are oh so sticky, no fly could resist!
These guys can really help if you’re bugged by flying insects in the home….nom nom nom🪰🤤

Check out her work. It’s beautiful, take it from us👍 If you fancy something a bit more bespoke she’ll happily produce her pieces in different colours and even personalise for you…and that goes for pet bowls too! You’ll also find pieces for sale in our gift shop.
Although she doesn’t currently run classes, if you ask very nicely she may even give you a wee turn at her wheel😉
