Katrina likes to keep telling us she joined when she was 18…then our Tim reminds her he joined 2 years later and at that point she was off on maternity after having her 4th child🥴😂

This little buff-tailed bumblebee really knows how to work it, feeding against the vibrant backdrop of alstroemeria ‘Indian Summer’
We say ‘little’ but it’s actually the biggest of the bumbles and they’re known as ‘nectar robbers’ no less for their nifty knack of biting holes in the base of flowers too big for them to neck their nectar naturally.

We wanted to say thanks to those of you that have been asking after our Holly since we lost our lovely old boy Rowan.
They weren’t the best of buddies…Holly liked to wait for him behind the top of the stairs to give him a decent paw whack…however, when he was gone she went off her food (she’s a feline foodie) and was seeking more attention from our team.
We’re pleased to say she’s now doing just grand, as you can see from these mellow moments complete with catnip.
She’s also more friendly now with people she doesn’t know so please feel free to say helllo😊

It’s with the heaviest heart that we share the very sad news of losing our Rowan a few days ago at the age of 13 after a brief illness.
Rowan was a rescue and joined us 5 years ago along with his sister Willow. He had plenty to say then and that never really changed!
In those 5 years he brought so much joy and humour to his NHG family, and we believe, our customers too.
As many of you may have seen, Rowan was at his most contented around people, snug in a cardboard plant tray (his favourite) at the tills and casually spilling over the edge! Add to that the chance of a tummy rub, and being the master of the quick flip, he was all yours!
We couldn’t have asked for a more gentle, friendly and affectionate chap and feel lucky to be the ones to give him his forever home.
Rowan has been laid to rest in our gardens beside his sister Willow and our other beloved boy Basil.
You will be sorely missed Rowan, or as you were more affectionately known, our Ginger Prince
