More than just a tearoom
Our Orangery Tearoom is an experience in itself with its home baking, fresh soups, great teas/coffees and light lunches. All served up by our friendly team. The Tearoom Terrace enjoys a lovely view over our themed gardens to the River Forth and the Kingdom of Fife.
Open daily from 10.00am with last service 4.30pm (Lunches served 11.30 – 3.00pm)


Tempting Choice
Start the day off at 10.00am with our reknowned bacon rolls and a coffee made with our very own blend from local coffee roaster Henry's Coffee Company.
After a little shopping you can treat yourself to lunch. Will you choose one of our HOMEMADE SOUPS perhaps with a CHEESE SCONE, today’s special hot BAKED DISH, or a bowl of CRISPY SALAD from our irresistible SALAD BAR?
All day long our platters of HOMEBAKED CAKES AND SLICES will tempt you, but after all, you’re special. And shopping can be hard work when we offer you with such a wide choice of wonderful plants, garden tools, gifts and other gardening essentials.
Recipe: Cheddar and Haggis Scones
Ingredients
500g self raising flour
100g margarine
A pinch of salt
30g mature cheddar cheese, grated
60g uncooked haggis, grated
2 beaten eggs
Milk
Method
Set oven to 165 C
Rub the flour and margarine together until it resembles breadcrumbs.
Add the cheese and haggis, then add the eggs and enough milk to create a soft dough.
Roll out on a floured surface to 1.5 inches thick. Cut with a scone cutter and brush the top with milk.
Bake for 15-20 mins until golden.
