| ‘The Retreat’
Designed as a place for one person to seek peace. The red
Pyramid represents our troubles and when seated your
troubles are behind you. The focus of attention is the ‘Guardian
Angel’ which will hopefully soothe the mind. The pyramid
shield the person from other people’s sight and the simple
green planting enhances the calming feel of the garden that
is sought by the troubled visitor.
John Stevenson
John is our only male and retired winner.
He has come to garden
design late but is fired
up and overflowing with
ideas, and we can’t wait
to see his restyled front
garden in Portobello!
‘Secret Senses’
Creating a solid structure around which the organic
plant forms and glass pieces are arranged in a marriage
of light, colour and texture. Glass as a natural product
that reflects, transforms and casts shadows has a very
harmonious place in the contemporary garden adding an
ever changing dimension, in a variety of exciting and
stimulating ways.
