Orangery Senior Cook Duty Manager

Would you like to join our busy and friendly team in the Orangery Tearoom?
You are an enthusiastic cook with homebaking skills as well as broad cooking skills. Your time would be split between baking on your own in our homebaking kitchen and cooking and acting as duty manager on a rota basis in our very busy tearoom kitchen with the rest of the team.
Although negotiable we anticipate that the role is full time (35 hour week) five days a week with a weekend rota of 1 in 3 taking weekdays off in lieu. There is a small premium paid for weekend hours worked.
You need to be happy working in a busy team in the Orangery kitchen as well as being happy to work on your own when you are baking. As a duty manager in the rota you will manage the team, order supplies as directed by our Tearoom Manager and oversee the running of the tearoom.
We work on a six week rota to allow you to plan your life and offer 30 days paid holidays which include 10 public holidays. We are shut at Christmas and New Year. We run an auto enrolment pension scheme.
