We have everything for the keen food grower, although frustratingly at this time of year the main activity is planning and preparing for activity to start in the Spring.
Right now you could start growing mushrooms with a mushroom kit, choosing and planting fruit trees and bushes and digging over the border you want to grow food in or building raised beds all ready for the warmer weather and brighter light!
FOR THOSE OF YOU MORE INTERESTED IN YOUR FLOWER BORDERS
There are lots of trees, shrubs and hardy perennials that can be planted over the winter. Our outdoor plant sales area will tempt you ever month of the year and, as they say, one flowering plant in the winter is worth a dozen in the summer. Of course you have to plant your winter star perfromers where you will notice them: perhaps next to the patio doors, in the front garden or by the front door.
A group of well planted pots at the front door makes a very welcome addition to your home. We have piles of pots that are frostproof and lots of plants to fill them!
